Screenle Autofill — Privacy Policy

The Screenle Autofill browser extension helps you complete job application forms using the profile you maintain at screenle.com. This policy explains exactly what it does with data.

What the extension accesses

• Only when you click the Screenle icon on a job application page, the extension reads that page's form: the visible field labels, the question text, and the surrounding job description. It uses Chrome's activeTab permission, so it never reads any page unless you explicitly invoke it on that page.
• On screenle.com only, it reads your personal autofill key so it can authenticate to your own Screenle account.

What is sent, and to whom

• The form's field labels and job context are sent to Screenle (screenle.com) together with your autofill key, so Screenle can generate answers from your own profile. No data is sent to any third party.
• Screenle returns the answers; the extension fills them into the form in your browser. The completed answers are not stored by the extension.
• The extension never submits an application for you — you always review and submit yourself.

What is stored locally

The extension stores only two things in your browser's local extension storage: your Screenle autofill key, and your fill preference (fill-empty vs overwrite). Nothing else is persisted. You can clear it any time by removing the extension.

What is NOT collected

The extension does not track your browsing, does not read pages you don't act on, does not sell or share data, and contains no analytics or advertising. Answer generation is governed by your Screenle Persona permissions and never invents information.

Data handled by Screenle

Answer generation happens on Screenle's servers using the profile and sources you have authorised in your Screenle account, under the main Screenle Privacy Policy. The extension itself adds no new data collection.
